Puan Zam Suraya Binti Mohd Budin (“Puan Zam”) completed her tertiary education locally and she begun her law journey when she obtained her Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from International Islamic University Malaysia.

Her initial years of practice began with chambering at Messrs Ismail, Khoo & Associates during which she gained valuable knowledge and expertise and wide exposure to the foreclosure proceedings, bankruptcy proceedings, petition for Grant of Probate / Grant of Letters of Administration, Small Estate Distribution applications, claims for goods sold and delivered as well as conveyancing practice. Upon the completion of her chambering, she was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor in the High Court of Malaya on the 24th May 2003. Having a thirst to establish her legal career in conveyancing areas which is more suit with her soul, since then she has been practicing law specifically in real property and banking laws.

With such strong passion of becoming a good conveyancing lawyer, Puan Zam commenced her legal practice as Conveyancing Legal Assistant with Messrs Shen & Assocites and her practice areas mainly centered on conveyancing transaction, real property and retail loan. Puan Zam also gain her vast knowledge in conveyancing matter all from her past experience in working with few other legal firms such as Messrs Salleh & Co, Kuala Lumpur whereby she was entrusted to be the Head of the Conveyancing Department, Messrs John Tong Fahmi & KH Yeoh where she gained invaluable experience in attending to Developer Projects . She was exposed to conveyancing matters for more than a decade. Therefore she is a person who has vast experience in these fields.

Puan Zam joined LH YEO & CO in 2015 bringing with her over 10 years legal expertise gained through her tenure with previous firm. With extensive experience in managing complex real estate cases and property transfer, currently, Puan Zam leads her conveyancing department in the review and preparation of all the requisite transaction documents and handles properties transaction including preparing sale and purchase agreements/other relevant documentations and advising client in relation to the transactions. Furthermore, she is frequently keeping the firm clients abreast on the current issues involving real estate matters. The scope of her work also includes supervising the supporting staffs.
